Icon_Power_ButtonDon't Change Your 401(k), Help Participants Succeed With 401(k) Advice

BeManaged is a turnkey solution for participant 401(k) advice as it can be "plugged in" to a company's existing retirement plan.

We work with numerous plan providers to coordinate this, giving plan sponsors, advisors, and plan providers the ability to offer a high touch, effective, long term solution that dramatically improves the asset allocation and savings rates for a plan's participant population.

How Does it Work?

  • Participants Using Service Grant Us Online Access - We only have access to the participants' accounts who are using the service, as they grant us access through the 1on1 401(k) consultations.

  • Fees Billed Through Participants' Accounts - We provide you an invoice demonstrating the participants using our service, their account balance, and applicable fee (usually billed quarterly or semi-annually). After review, you as the plan sponsor forward this on to your 401(k) provider for processing. Only the participants using the service pay for the service.

  • Recordkeeper Debits Accounts - We do not need to be "connected" to the 401(k) provider, instead they debit the participants' accounts accordingly. We have worked with some of the largest 401(k) providers in the nation, including Fidelity, Principal, etc., and have yet to run into an issue on this front.

  • Participants' Portfolios Built With the Existing Investment Options - We do not need a "select list" of funds added to your plan, instead operating within the existing structure you have created, whether that is ten investment options or 200.

  • Plan Advisor Relationship Is Unaffected - Working with a dedicated 401(k) expert advisor is very beneficial to plan sponsors. We enjoy working with advisors, as the investment options made available are typically of the highest quality. As an analogy, they shop for the groceries, and we cook them up for the participants.
