  • Independent Registered Investment Advisor - We are 100% fee-only, as we accept no monies or rewards from mutual funds, insurance companies, or 401(k) service providers, allowing us to maintain full independence and remain unbiased for our clients.

  • Dedicated Fiduciary- We were the first company in the nation to become CEFEX certified as a Fiduciary Adviser (PPA), and the thirteenth company overall to be certified by CEFEX, which has different levels of certification. Additionally, we were the 10th company in the nation to be endorsed as an Independent Fiduciary by Matthew Hutcheson, AIFA, whom has testified on behalf of fiduciaries in front of Congress and the Department of Labor.

  • 1on1 Consultation Approach, Not Web/Call Center - In our experience, participants want a person they can trust to discuss their retirement with, and our dedicated Risk Counselors are dedicated to providing participants candid feedback on their portfolios, with a focus on managing risk and maximizing contributions.

  • Reasonable, Fully Disclosed Capped Fee Schedule - The 401(k) is an institutional system, and thus should not have retail based fees forced upon participants. Our reasonable, capped fee schedule is fully disclosed to all participants when they are deciding on whether to utilize our service.

  • Technology To Deliver Results - While most participants prefer the 1on1 consultation, those that prefer to do it themselves can simply enroll online via their dedicated company site to ensure they understand what is available to them. Additionally, they can go through a phone consultation to interact with a dedicated Risk Counselor to make sure they understand where they stand with their 401(k), and whether the BeManaged or BeAdvised services fit their situation.

What We Are Not

  • Product Sales People - We do NOT sell any investment or insurance products of any kind. Additionally, we also do not provide wealth management services. Therefore, the companies that hire us understand the time they are providing to their employees to meet with a Risk Counselor is not being used to sell them products, but instead focus on helping them better understand and manage their 401(k) assets.
